By accessing or using GoalHappy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GoalHappy is a task management application that allows users to create, manage, and track tasks. The Service offers both free local usage and paid subscription plans for cloud synchronization and cross-device access.

3. User Accounts

• You may use GoalHappy without creating an account for local task management.
• To access cloud sync features, you must create an account with accurate information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use GoalHappy to:

• Store, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Abuse, harass, threaten, or intimidate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other malicious activities
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers without prior written consent
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Abuse of any kind is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Subscription & Payments

• GoalHappy Pro is available at $4 USD per month or $36 USD per year.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.

6. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data. We do not sell your personal information or task data to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

GoalHappy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GoalHappy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your task data remains yours.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

GoalHappy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use Policy. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
